  A: The replacement process for battery positive cable (LH2 (RHD)) begins with disconnecting the negative cable before loosening the positive cable bolt. Unplug the positive cable from the battery then open the terminal cover of the bus electrical center (BEC). Start by taking off the positive Battery Cable nut which is connected to the bec stud before detaching the positive Battery Cable from this stud. Use an elevator to lift the vehicle before you move the positive cable boot toward the bat terminal which exits the generator. Lift away the generator output bat terminal nut before disconnection of the positive Battery Cable from the generator. You should first lower the vehicle before you remove the Intake Manifold. Begin by taking off the negative Battery Cable from the Starter after you disconnect both the Starter motor bat terminal nut and the Starter motor s terminal nut. The engine wiring harness bracket holds two positive Battery Cable clips (1, 3) which need removal before disconnecting the positive Battery Cable electrical connector from the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Connect the positive Battery Cable to the bec stud by placing the Battery Cable boot at the generator output bat terminal then lower the vehicle before tightening the positive Battery Cable nut to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Complete the terminal cover of the bec while placing the positive Battery Cable onto the battery before tightening the bolt to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). Finish the installation with reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
