Positive Cable

The battery negative cable needs battery disconnection following further steps. Begin by turning off all accessories and equipment, next turn off the ignition, finally remove the negative Battery Cable from the battery. During installation you must clean possible corrosion from both the battery terminal and Battery Cable bolt together with the Battery Cable itself. The battery negative cable requires connection to the battery while adding torque on the Battery Cable bolt to reach 22 n.m (16 lb ft). To perform power sunroof calibration begin by setting ignition to run then activate the power sunroof switch to closed while maintaining pressure for 3 seconds post completion. Follow the bending sequence on the power sunroof switch, beginning with tilt followed by 3-second wait time then full open phase followed by another 3-second hold before returning to the closed position with similar 3-second waiting time. Each window in the power windows system requires this calibration procedure when performed separately. Drive the vehicle to the run position then press the Power Window Switch down for 3 seconds during the full down position before switching to the up direction with another 3-second hold during the maximum height. Press simultaneously the auto and off buttons on the heat and a/c control head under run ignition while maintaining button engagement for at least 5 seconds to permit stepper motor cycling. Perform another tire pressure sensor system relearn if needed.

Tighten it to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

Remove the stud securing the battery negative cable to the engine block.

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position, press the power window switch down and hold for 3 seconds after it reaches the full down position, then press the switch up and hold for 3 seconds after it reaches the full up position.

Connect the positive battery cable electrical connector to the engine wiring harness electrical connector and install the positive battery cable to the starter.
