How to replace the ignition switch on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To replace the ignition and start switch, first remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Then loosen the tabs that hold the switch in place on the trim panel and remove the switch. For installation run the switch to the trim panel, push to lock the locking tabs and then reinstall the instrument cluster trim panel.
