How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 2, turn the ignition OFF, using the vehicle's jack safely lift the vehicle. Locate and disconnect the HO2S, its electrical connector, then loosen it from the transmission case as much as possible without ruining the permanently connected pigtail or connector, as this piece can interfere with sensor operation. It is suggested that this procedure should be done after the engine temperature exceeds the 48°C (120°F) for easier removal. After the removal of the HO2S, apply anti-seize compound P/N 5613695 or equivalent onto the threads of the pre-used sensor because the newly serviced sensors should already have a coating of anti-seize compound applied to them. First, install the HO2S, then tighten the bolt to 40 N.m (30 lb ft), and reconnect the electrical connector and install the wiring harness back to transmission case and then lower the vehicle.
