How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2008 Cadillac STS?

To remove the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for bank 1 sensor 1, first make sure that the ignition is off. If required, the fuel injector sight shield should be removed. Remove the ho2s electrical connector and pull it off from the wiring harness bracket. Lift and support the vehicle, being careful to make removal easier when the engine is hotter than 48°c (120°F). Remove the ho2s carefully from the Catalytic Converter while being aware of the risks of damaging the permanently fixed pigtail and connector. While installing the new, or even replaced, ho2s place anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 on the threads if they are not already covered. Mount the ho2s to the Catalytic Converter and tighten it to a torque of 40 n.m (30 lb ft). Push the vehicle down, reconnect the ho2s wiring connector, and reinstall the gas injector sight shield if it was disconnected.
