First disconnect both hoses by loosening the clamp fixtures followed by plugging the hoses with objects to stop outside contaminants from harming the power steering system. The first step involves undoing the fluid reservoir attaching bolts while you withdraw the fluid reservoir from its place. Install the fluid reservoir through its bolts to the Power Steering Reservoir attaching points then tighten it to 7 n.m (62 lb in). Secure the hose clamps to connect both hoses. The correct power steering fluid for addition or complete change should be gm spec. No. 9985010 or its equivalent to prevent Power Steering Hose damage along with seal failure and fluid leaks and pump failure. Add power steering fluid into the reservoir while checking for fluid leaks and resolve any leaking issues before performing system bleeding.
