How to replace the steering wheel on a Notchback on 2008 Chevrolet Aveo?

When replacing the Steering Wheel of a notchback start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Next, remove the sir module. Use a marker to place match marks between the Steering Wheel and the steering column shaft before disconnecting the horn connector. Start by taking out the Steering Wheel nut and retention clip then use the km-210-a Steering Wheel puller (KM-210-A) to remove the Steering Wheel. You should detach the contact ring from the Steering Wheel when needed. When reinstalling the contact ring select the necessary alignment and rotate the signal-canceling cam until it reaches the left position. Use the km-210-a Steering Wheel puller (KM-210-A) to remove the Steering Wheel by first installing both the retaining clip and the Steering Wheel nut then tighten it to 38 n.m (28 lb ft) before bending the tabs to set the retaining clip. Reinstall the sir module before connecting the negative Battery Cable.
