The first step to replace the Radiator outlet hose on llv 2.9l and llr 3.7l engines requires draining coolant. Manufacturer j 38185 hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used to shift the outlet Radiator Hose clamp placement away from the Thermostat Housing before extracting the outlet Radiator Hose from the Thermostat. Prior to removing the outlet Radiator Hose from the Radiator position the clamp further away by using the clamp plier j 38185. You must connect the outlet Radiator Hose to the Radiator using j 38185 before clamping the hose to its proper position on the Radiator. Lower down the vehicle afterward positioning the outlet Radiator Hose on top of the Thermostat before using j 38185 to adjust the outlet Radiator Hose clamp at the Thermostat Housing. Finally, fill the cooling system.
