Driving coolant from the system needs to be completed beforehand when replacing a radiator outlet hose on llv and llr models with 2.9l and 3.7l engines. Positioning the outlet Radiator Hose clamp with hose clamp pliers (J 38185) away from the Thermostat housing enables removal of the outlet Radiator Hose that connects to the Thermostat. Raising the vehicle enables hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to relocate the outlet Radiator Hose clamp properly before removing the hose from the radiator surface. Place the outlet Radiator Hose to the radiator before securing it with hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reposition the outlet Radiator Hose clamp properly on the radiator. Lower the vehicle and install the outlet Radiator Hose to the Thermostat while using hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Afterward reposition the outlet Radiator Hose clamp to the Thermostat housing with the same pliers. Finally, fill the cooling system.
