How to replace the liftgate wiper motor on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

You need to uninstall the rear wiper shield and liftgate Wiper Motor before you can replace the liftgate Wiper Motor. Take off the Wiper Motor bolts and shift the motor out by removing its pivot shaft from the rear window grommet. Disconnect the electrical connector. Run the electrical connector then insert the motor through the rear window grommet as explained in the fastener notice. Replug the electrical connector and press the module back into place before fastening the Wiper Motor bolts to 7 n.m (62 lb in).
