Position the sealant on the rear axle housing cover's middle flange area and inside all bolt hole openings. The new rear axle housing cover installation requires untapped hardware while tightening new bolts to 61 N.m (45 lb ft). After 1 hour of sealant curing time fill the axle with correct lubrication before installing the rear axle fill plug with 33 N.m (24 lb ft) torque. Then lower the vehicle.
