How to replace the Power Steering Hose (GT4) on 2008 Chevrolet Express 3500?

Begin replacement of the Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose (GT4) by putting a drain pan below the car and following it with support and elevation. Disconnect the Power Steering Cooler hose at both its pump and gear connections while applying caps to prevent dirt access. The Power Steering Cooler mounting bolts need removal before pulling the cooler out of the vehicle. Install the Power Steering Cooler accurately before tightening its mounting bolts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Secure the Power Steering Cooler hose at the power steering gear by tightening the fitting up to 33 n.m (24 lb in). Then join the hose to the Power Steering Pump. Before removing the drain pan from underneath the vehicle you must lower the vehicle along with bleeding the power steering system.
