How to replace the Exhaust Muffler with Resonator, exhaust, and tail pipe on the L61/LE5 on 2008 Chevrolet HHR?

To change exhaust Muffler with resonator, exhaust, and Tail Pipe on the l61/le5 first; raise and support the vehicle; but make sure you use an appropriate jack stand to support the exhaust resonator pipe. Remove insulators the resonator pipe, and the Muffler. Cut the resonator pipe up from the weld at the Muffler inlet pipe with the appropriate tool, and remove the Muffler from the vehicle. Next, unsnap the resonator pipe nuts from the Catalytic Converter and remove the resonator pipe with the gasket from the Catalytic Converter. End deburring of the resonator pipe and Muffler inlet pipe may also be required. For installation, the new gasket mount on the resonator pip e and join it to the catalytic convert tightening it with the resonator pipe new 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Mount the resonator pipe onto the insulators , install the Muffler onto it and onto the insulators . Put on the service clamp on the exhaust Muffler on and tighten the service clamp nuts to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Lastly, pull out the support from the exhaust system and check for leaking of exhaust and under body clearance.
