How to service and repair the air cleaner fresh air hose on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Begin air cleaner fresh air duct/hose service and repair operations by detaching the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube from the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Separate the clamps which secure both the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and Throttle Body. First detach the air cleaner outlet duct bolt before taking out the air cleaner outlet duct. Start by positioning the air cleaner outlet duct and then install its bolt gradually until it reaches 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque. The distal clamp requires a torque of 7 n.m (62 lb in) after placement at the maf/iat sensor and Throttle Body. To finish the repair, connect the air cleaner resonator outlet duct to the pcv fresh air tube.
