    Q:
How to service and repair the air cleaner fresh air hose and replace the air cleaner outlet resonator on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service repairs on the air cleaner fresh air duct hose begin by first loosening the clamps from both shoe duct and outlet resonator. First remove the 2 air cleaner outlet resonator to engine bolts and disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner outlet resonator. The service requires you to detach the crankcase ventilation hose at both its ports: the intake valve cover and the iat sensor electrical connection. Extract the air cleaner outlet resonator assembly that attaches near the engine. To start installation connect the iat sensor electrical connector while installing the air cleaner outlet resonator assembly onto the engine to ensure proper connection of the crankcase ventilation hose to the valve cover port and correct fitting of the air cleaner outlet resonator to the Throttle Body assembly. Place 2 air cleaner outlet resonator bolts onto our engine with tightness set to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Use the air cleaner outlet duct to join the outlet resonator then correctly position the duct and resonate clamps before securely tightening the clamps to 4 n.m (35 lb in) torque.

    Q:
How to service and repair the air cleaner fresh air hose and replace the air cleaner outlet resonator on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service and repair of the air cleaner fresh air duct/hose requires loosening the air cleaner outlet duct and air cleaner outlet resonator clamps before removing the air cleaner outlet resonator and fresh air duct. First disconnect the air cleaner outlet duct from the air cleaner outlet resonator by untwisting 2 bolts. Move forward by disconnecting the crankcase ventilation hose from both its points at the valve cover port and electrical intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector. You need to extract the air cleaner outlet resonator assembly from its positioning on the engine. Connect the iat sensor electrical connector first before installing the air cleaner outlet resonator assembly onto the engine while making sure the crankcase ventilation hose remains connected to the valve cover port and the air cleaner outlet resonator fits correctly to the Throttle Body assembly. Secure the 2 air cleaner outlet resonator to engine bolts with 6 nm (53 lb in) torque. After connecting the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner outlet resonator position its clamps correctly and tighten them to 4 nm (35 lb in).
