    Q:
How to replace the air filter element on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
Air cleaner replacements begin by removing the radiator support diagonal brace when necessary. First disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) reaction pump inlet hose which connects to the air cleaner air outlet duct. Use a screwdriver to remove the 3 air cleaner cover/resonator retaining screws before you can remove the air cleaner cover/resonator. The lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly requires removal of the Air Filter and air outlet duct before pulling the Air Filter off the air outlet duct by twisting and pulling. A complete examination of the assembly should be performed to identify dust, debris or water presence. Any needed cleaning or replacement should occur straightaway. Push the Air Filter onto the air outlet duct while twisting it into position before sliding both components into the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly. Position the air inlet duct correctly within the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly prior to installing both air cleaner cover/resonator pieces. Screw in the 3 air cleaner cover/resonator retaining screws to 4 n.m (35 lb in) torques. Connect the air outlet duct to the air pump inlet hose then reinstall the radiator support diagonal brace if present.

    Q:
How to Change the Air Filter on a GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before you install a new air filter you need to free the clips securing the air cleaner cover followed by removing the cover. Check the entire lower air cleaner housing assembly for debris or damage before inspecting the air filter which should be removed from this component. Make all necessary repairs. Alignment of filter opening must be performed with duct opening before you connect the filter's alignment feature to the retainer inside the lower air cleaner assembly. Position the air cleaner cover tangs into lower air cleaner housing assembly slots until the cover rests completely in position. Download the air cleaner cover and align the filter's alignment feature with the retainer in the cover before fastening the air cleaner clips to the cover.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter element on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the air cleaner replacement process by removing any diagonal radiator support bracket when needed. Exao the inlet hose of the secondary air injection reaction pump from the air cleaner's duct through which air exits. You will replace the air cleaner by first loosening and then removing the retaining screws which secure the 3 air cleaner housing components. Remove the air cleaner from its lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly by lifting the element combination with the air outlet duct. Afterward disconnect the combination using a twisting motion. Check the entire assembly for all dust and debris as well as water contamination and replace or clean as needed. The air cleaner needs to be placed onto the air outlet duct through twisting and pushing installation before both units slide into the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly. Position the air inlet duct properly into the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly prior to air cleaner housing installation. Install the radiator support diagonal brace while adding 4 nm (35 lb in) torque to the 3 air cleaner housing retaining screws and reattach the air cleaner air outlet duct to the air pump inlet hose.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter element on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the Air Filter requires removal of any radiator support diagonal brace if it exists. Detach the inlet pipe from the air reaction pump which connects to the Air Filter's outlet duct. Three Air Filter housing retention screws need to be loosened before removing the housing. The Air Filter and air outlet duct must first be lifted from beneath the lower Air Filter housing/washer solvent tank assembly to remove the Air Filter by twisting and pulling from the air outlet duct. Examine the complete assembly pieces for dust along with debris and water indications then perform necessary cleaning or component replacement. To install the Air Filter place it on the air outlet duct with a pushing and twisting motion before inserting both into the lower Air Filter housing/washer solvent tank assembly and replace the Air Filter housing. Make sure the air inlet duct sits correctly within the lower Air Filter housing/washer solvent tank assembly before tightening all 3 Air Filter housing retaining screws to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Researching showroom financing. For the last step, attach the air pulse inlet hose to the Air Filter air outlet duct. Also reinstall the radiator support diagonal brace when possible.
