2007 Buick Rainier Air Filter Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to Replace an Air Filter on 2007 Buick Rainier?
A: Begin by removing the radiator support diagonal brace when it exists. Disconnect the inlet hose of the air reaction pump from the air cleaner duct using appropriate air injection (AIR) hardware. The air cleaner housing retains screws need moderate loosening before removing the housing. The air cleaner and air outlet duct must be lifted from the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly before removing the air cleaner from the air outlet duct through twisting and pulling. Check all parts of the assembly for traces of dust, debris and water and take cleaning or replacement steps as needed. During installation insert the air cleaner onto the air outlet duct through a twisting and pushing maneuver and place the combination into the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly. The air inlet duct needs proper installation into the lower air cleaner housing/washer solvent tank assembly before adding the air cleaner housing. Secure the 3 retaining screws on the air cleaner housing at 4 n.m (35 lb in) torque setting, reattach the inlet hose to the air outlet duct and reinstall the radiator support bracket where applicable.
