How to replace the front door striker on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

In order to change the striker of the front door, open it and trace its position on the frame. Unscrew the bolts that hold the striker so that you can take them out and then the striker and spacer. Install with the bolts not fully tightened and then tighten them completely and shut the door.
