How to replace the HVAC control module on 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

In order to change the stop lamp switch, disconnect the electrical connector and battery negative cable to the switch. Take out the retainer off the brake pedal pin and the switch with the pushrod. Install the electric connector by attaching the new switch to the pushrod and the electrical connector and fitting it into the brake pedal pin.
