How to replace the windshield wiper motor on 2008 Chevrolet Uplander?

Position the wipers where they stop while the car is parked and unplug the wiper motor electric connector. Next, unscrew the wiper motor crank arm nut and crank arm , followed by the wiper motor screws , then pull out the wiper motor from module assembly. Where installing the new wiper motor is concerned, the same motor will arrive in the parked position has to be installed with the crank arm placed onto the wiper motor pivot shaft with the assumption that it will rest in between the two casting dimples. Fix the crank arm pivot nut in place by tightening it up to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Install the transmission link to the wiper crank arm using the Wiper Linkage Installer (J 39529). Place the module assembly at the lower plenum and attach the electrical connector to the wiper motor and then move the reposition the wiper arms. Lastly, check the front wiper system operation.
