To start the replacement process you must first remove the upper Timing Chain Guide bolts before taking out the upper Timing Chain Guide from its position on the Cylinder Head. Install the upper Timing Chain Guide on the Cylinder Head while applying threadlock to the bolt threads that secure it. The fastener notice must be followed exactly in order to prevent vehicle damage. The upper Timing Chain Guide bolts should receive a torque value of 10 n.m (89 lb in) for installation. Finally, reinstall the camshaft cover.
