Begin by removing the Exhaust Manifold bolts before taking out the Exhaust Manifold together with its gasket. The gasket needs disposal because you will not reuse it. Start by fastening one Exhaust Manifold bolt to the Exhaust Manifold followed by setting a new Exhaust Manifold gasket onto the Cylinder Head before bolting it. Install the Exhaust Manifold along with new gasket onto the Catalytic Converter and Cylinder Head while making sure Exhaust Manifold bolts achieve 20 nm (15 lb ft) torque. Reinstallation of both the Exhaust Manifold heat shield along with the Catalytic Converter completes the procedure.
