How to replace the floor shift knob on 2009 Cadillac DTS?

In order to install the Floor Shift Knob, put the parking brakes on and make sure that the engine is shut off when putting it to Neutral. Hold on to the shift knob and pull it off in a straight motion. Slide the new knob to the lever and press until a click is heard. Lastly, turn off to Park and take off the brake.
