How to replace the passenger seat head restraint Car Speakers on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

A plastic flat-bladed tool must be inserted at the base of the speaker grille to pry up the retaining clips for removal of the speaker grille from the seat. You must detach the speaker retaining screws from both the seat and the speaker and then guide out the speaker from the seat before disconnecting its harness lead. Remove the speaker grille retainer after accomplishing these steps. Installation starts with attaching the speaker grille retainer after you connect the harness lead to the speaker while correctly routing the speaker harness lead through the seat. Next install the 4 screws through the seat which hold the speaker in position while tightening them to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in). After that align the speaker grille with the seat before carefully pushing the speaker grille to trigger the retaining clips on the seat.
