How to replace the engine coolant thermostat in a 1.4L/1.6L DOHC engine on 2009 Chevrolet Aveo?

To change the engine coolant Thermostat of a 1.4l/1.6l dohc engine, drain the coolant first. Disconnect the upper Radiator Hose and the throttle body coolant inlet hose from the Thermostat Housing, remove the Thermostat bolts and the Thermostat Housing. Remove the Thermostat with the gasket, checking the said gasket for cracks or damage and if needed, proceed to clear the valve seat for any form of foreign matter that may prevent effective seating. Clean the Thermostat Housing and the mating surface prior to installation. Mount the Thermostat and housing with the bolts and torque to 20nm (15 lb ft). Affix the upper Radiator Hose to the Thermostat Housing using a hose clamp and connect the throttle body coolant inlet hose, then backfill the engine cooling system.
