Steering clear of using the ignition key with the throttle blade propped open will dodge diagnostic trouble code (DTC) activation. Start by taking off the air cleaner outlet duct. Start by disconnecting the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the electronic throttle control (ETC) . Separate the Throttle Body bolts prior to removing the Throttle Body. Check the Throttle Body Gasket's condition then replace it if needed. During installation you must reposition the Throttle Body while observing fastener precautions. Screw on the Throttle Body bolts with 10 nm (89 lb in) of torque force. Reroute the engine wiring harness electrical connector into the etc before reintroducing the air cleaner outlet duct.
