How to replace the A/C Hose on 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Recover refrigerant first in order to replace the evaporator tube. Dispose the upper radiator air baffle and deflector and the air cleaner assembly. Then, take off the surge tank hold down nut and bolt without opening the cooling system. Detach the evaporator tube nut from the evaporator and separate the evaporator tube from the evaporator. If available, pull the evaporator tube nut off the auxiliary a/c tube and disconnect that tubing too. Then, unscrew the evaporator tube nut from the condenser and separate the evaporator from the condenser and take evaporator tube out of the car. Discard all used sealing washers and cap all openings. As for installation, connect the evaporator tube with new sealing washers to the condenser and then hard the evaporator tube nut to the condenser with 16 nm (12 lb ft) torque. Equipment - connect the evaporator tube to the auxiliary a/c tube using new sealing washers and fix the evaporator tube nut to the auxiliary a/c tube, tightening it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Mount the evaporator tube to the evaporator and fasten it to 16 nm 12 lbft as the evaporator tube nut; then use the surge tank hold down nut and bolt. Replace the air cleaner assembly and the upper radiator air baffle and deflector. Finally, evacuate and recharge the system and check for leaks in the fittings of the components with the help of the inflatable j 39400-a halogen leak detector.
