    Q:
How to replace the A/C Hose for LY2, LMF, L76, and L92 on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
The refrigerant recovery process should start as the first step when replacing discharge hoses that belong to ly2, lmf, l76 and l92 units. First detach the mounting bolt of the discharge hose from the A/C Compressor then remove the discharge hose from the compressor. Detach the upper radiator baffle before disconnecting the discharge hose nut from the condenser and finally removing the discharge hose from the condenser. The a/c recirculation switch electrical connector needs removal and the vehicle must receive the discharge hose while discarding existing sealing washers along with system opening caps. You can start by setting up the discharge hose on the vehicle then install the a/c recirculation switch electrical connector. Subscribe the condenser discharge hose with new sealing washers before installing the condenser discharge hose nut while tightening it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). The technician should reinstall the upper air baffle then connect the discharge hose to the A/C Compressor by using new sealing washers before tightening the discharge hose mounting bolt to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). To complete the process evacuate the a/c system before recharging it and use the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to test fitment leaks.

    Q:
How to replace the auxiliary A/C Hose tubes on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to change auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes requires recovering refrigerant from the entire system. First remove the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes from their positions on the condenser tube and the accumulator. You can reach the clamp situated at the right wheelhouse front through loosening it to lift the vehicle upward. Start by removing the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes and the retaining nut from the auxiliary hvac module before taking out the heater/a/c tubes retaining nut from the stud situated at the frame. First remove the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes by unclamping them from their locations then take the parts off the vehicle. When mounting the system fit the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes to the vehicle while tightening their clamps securely to their position. Apply the heater/a/c tubes retaining nut to the stud at the frame . Tighten it to 7 n.m (62 lb in). After installing the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes (2, 3) toward the auxiliary hvac module reinforce the retaining nut with 16 n.m (12 lb ft) torque. Lower the vehicle then put back the right front wheelhouse before connecting the auxiliary a/c evaporator tubes to the condenser tube and accumulator and tighten all nuts to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Through the last steps you should recharge the refrigerant followed by a leak test on fittings using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).

    Q:
How to replace the A/C Hose discharge hose (LB7) in an A/C system on Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace the discharge hose (LB7), recover the refrigerant initially. Leak test the fittings after installation using a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). Start with a removal of the discharge hose mounting bolt from the A/C Compressor and dispose of the bolt. Afterwards, disconnect the discharge hose from A/C Compressor and remove the upper radiator air baffle. Then, remove the discharge hose nut from the condenser and discard it, then remove the discharge hose from the condenser. Disconnect the a/c recirculation switch from discharge hose, remove the discharge hose from the vehicle and discard used sealing washers and cap the system openings. It is time to attach the new discharge hose to the vehicle, and fit the a/c recirculation switch. Mount the discharge hose to the condenser with the new sealing washers; then attach the new discharge hose nut to condenser and tighten to 16n.m (12 lb ft). Re-install the upper radiator air baffle and attach discharge hose to the compressor using new sealing washers. Lastly, attach the new discharge hose mounting bolt to the A/C Compressor and tighten up to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) and evacuate then charge a/c system.

    Q:
How to replace the A/C Hose for LY2, LMF, L76, and L92 on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
The replacement process for discharge hoses refers to models ly2, lmf, l76, and l92 that requires refrigerant recovery before continuing. First disconnect the A/C Compressor discharge hose mounting bolt then detach the discharge hose from the compressor. The first step begins with removing the upper radiator baffle then proceeding to take off the discharge hose nut from the condenser and finally dismantling the discharge hose from the condenser. Disconnect the electrical a/c recirculation switch connector while removing the discharge hose from the vehicle through system openings which need sealing caps. Discard all used washer components. The new discharge hose should be attached to the vehicle before connecting it to the condenser after inserting new sealing washers. Fasten the discharge hose nut onto the condenser while tightening it up to 16 nm (12 lb ft). After reinstalling the upper air baffle the electrical connector should be reattached to the a/c recirculation switch. Fix the discharge hose to the A/C Compressor by using new sealing washers then install the discharge hose mounting bolt while tightening it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). The a/c system evacuation follows by recharging and a leak test of fittings with j 39400-a halogen leak detector.

How to replace the A/C Hose on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
Recover refrigerant first in order to replace the evaporator tube. Dispose the upper radiator air baffle and deflector and the air cleaner assembly. Then, take off the surge tank hold down nut and bolt without opening the cooling system. Detach the evaporator tube nut from the evaporator and separate the evaporator tube from the evaporator. If available, pull the evaporator tube nut off the auxiliary a/c tube and disconnect that tubing too. Then, unscrew the evaporator tube nut from the condenser and separate the evaporator from the condenser and take evaporator tube out of the car. Discard all used sealing washers and cap all openings. As for installation, connect the evaporator tube with new sealing washers to the condenser and then hard the evaporator tube nut to the condenser with 16 nm (12 lb ft) torque. Equipment - connect the evaporator tube to the auxiliary a/c tube using new sealing washers and fix the evaporator tube nut to the auxiliary a/c tube, tightening it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Mount the evaporator tube to the evaporator and fasten it to 16 nm 12 lbft as the evaporator tube nut; then use the surge tank hold down nut and bolt. Replace the air cleaner assembly and the upper radiator air baffle and deflector. Finally, evacuate and recharge the system and check for leaks in the fittings of the components with the help of the inflatable j 39400-a halogen leak detector.
