How to replace the A/C Hose (Non-HP2) on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500?

Recovery of refrigerant is required before replacing the air conditioning evaporator tube (Non-HP2). The first step involves removing the upper radiator air baffle and deflector and following it up with air cleaner assembly removal. The next step requires us to remove the surge tank hold down nut along with bolt but not to open the cooling system. Detach the evaporator tube nut from the evaporator then disconnect the evaporator tube from the same part. Disembark the evaporator tube nut from the auxiliary a/c tube when it is present. At this point remove the evaporator tube nut from the condenser and disconnect the evaporator tube from the condenser and take the evaporator tube out of the vehicle by itself. All existing sealing washers should be thrown away while you cover each exposed connection. For installation, start by fitting the evaporator tube to the condenser through new sealing washers following with the evaporator tube nut installation to the condenser then tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). The procedure requires using new sealing washers to connect the evaporator tube to the auxiliary a/c tube. Afterwards, install the evaporator tube nut to the auxiliary a/c tube then tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Reinstall the surge tank hold down nut and bolt while securing the evaporator tube with an evaporator tube nut which needs to be tightened to 16 nm (12 lb ft). The installation process includes relocating the air cleaner assembly together with the upper radiator air baffle and deflector. The system evacuation and recharging follows while using the j 39400-a halogen leak detector for examining the component fittings for leaks.
