The first step is to remove the A/C Compressor discharge hose mounting bolt followed by detaching the discharge hose from the compressor. Begin by removing the discharge hose nut from the condenser before moving on to the upper radiator baffle. Remove the discharge hose from the vehicle while discarding the used sealing washers and close all system openings. Disconnect the a/c recirculation switch electrical connector before removing the discharge hose. Begin the installation process by fixing the new discharge hose to the vehicle and plugging into the a/c recirculation switch electrical connector. New sealing washers go on the discharge hose before the hose attaches to the condenser. After installation, tighten the discharge hose nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft).
