How to replace the Shift Knob on 2009 GMC Acadia?

Apply parking brake, remove console panel, disconnect switch connector, key to RUN, move lever back. Pry trim ring down to expose screw, remove screw, slide knob and harness off. Lube lever tip, reinstall knob guiding harness, tighten screw, click ring, place lever in PARK, reconnect connector, test, reinstall panel, release brake.
