Start by unscrewing the HVAC control module screws then slowly depress the HVAC control module tabs to free the HVAC control module from the I/P before disconnecting its electrical connectors. During installation follow these steps: put the HVAC control module tabs in position before attaching electrical connectors that will securely slot into place. You should position the HVAC control module inside the I/P before securing it through screw installation while tightening screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in). Install the I/P accessory trim plate after completing the installation process.
