How to replace the Fuel Filler Hose with the LH door on 2009 GMC Savana 2500?

A proper start to replacing the fuel tank filler pipe with the lh door begins with cleaning both the fuel pipe and hose connections along with the nearby areas to avoid fuel system contamination. Start the process by lowering the fuel level below the fill hose of the fuel tank container and remove its fuel filler cap. Using a hoist lift the vehicle to properly work on it. Afterward remove the 2 retaining bolts and push-pin that holds the filler neck to the body. Disassemble the fuel tank by removing the ground strap bolt for the fuel filler tube while simultaneously freeing the clamp between the fuel fill hose and fuel fill pipe then removing the hose from the pipe. Then you can take off the fuel fill pipe assembly. To install the fuel fill pipe place it into the hose alignment with the housing while tightening the clamp to 2.75 nm (24 lb in). Secure the ground strap bolt of the fuel filler tube while tightening it to 8 nm (70 lb in) and lower the vehicle. After installing the fuel fill pipe housing bolts and push-pin, players must tighten them to 6 nm (53 lb in), follow with fuel tank refilling then installing the fuel filler cap.
