How to replace the LH Fuel Filler Hose without the door on 2010 GMC Savana 2500?

Before changing the fuel tank filler pipe one should clean all fuel pipe and hose connectors and their surrounding areas while also protecting the fuel system from contamination. Begin fuel tank replacement by lowering fuel level under the fuel tank fill hose until drops appear. Please raise the vehicle before you remove two retaining bolts and push-pin that attach the filler neck to the body. Before you remove the fuel fill pipe assembly you must disconnect the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe while also loosening the fuel fill hose to fuel fill pipe clamp and taking out the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt. After alignment of the fuel fill pipe with its housing connect it to the fuel fill hose while tightening the clamp to 2.75 nm (24 lb in). Fasten the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt with a torque of 8 nm (70 lb in) after which lower the vehicle. The installation process ends with bolting the fuel fill pipe housing then tightening it to 6 nm (53 lb in). Then you should refill the fuel tank before reinstalling the fuel filler cap.
