How to replace the Leaf Spring Shackle on 2009 GMC Savana 3500?

In order to remove the spring shackle, lift it up and hold it, making sure that the rear axle feels firm. Take out the mounting nut and bolt of the spring shackle to the frame bracket and leaf spring. Installation of the new shackle with the nuts being tightened properly and then the vehicle has to be lowered.
