How to replace the negative battery cable extension on 2010 Buick Enclave?

Start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable before you can replace the battery negative cable extension cable. Next disconnect the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle. First detach the engine wiring harness from the battery negative cable extension cable clip. Then remove the ground bolt from the Cylinder Head. Next move the battery negative cable extension cable terminal away from the Cylinder Head then remove the ground bolt from the left wheelhouse panel upper reinforcement. Use a screwdriver to remove the battery negative cable extension cable clip from two locations: the left upper engine compartment support bracket and front compartment side rail. After this, remove the cable from the engine compartment. To install the battery negative cable extension cable take it into the engine bay while carefully adhering to fastener guidelines. Screw the ground bolt through the left wheelhouse panel upper reinforcement until it achieves 58 nm (43 lb ft) of torque. The battery negative cable extension cable clip needs to be positioned at the left upper engine compartment support bracket then attached to the front compartment side rail. Install the battery negative cable extension cable terminal to the Cylinder Head then install the ground bolt while tightening it to 58 nm (43 lb ft). Reconnect the engine wiring harness to the battery negative cable extension cable clip before reinstalling the air cleaner assembly and connecting the negative Battery Cable.
