How to replace the alternator in a V6 engine on 2010 Buick LaCrosse?

To replace the generator for a V6 engine, disconnect the negative battery cable and engine harness connector. Remove the drive belt, idler pulley and generator bolts to remove the generator. For installation, place the generator, mount the idler pulley and reconnect all cables.
