To install a power vacuum brake booster in 3.9L engine, pop off the intake manifold cover and unconnect the EGR valve connector, and put the harness out of the way. Take out the master cylinder, unplug brake booster check valve and drop steering column. Install the new booster and re-assemble all parts by making sure that the brake pedal position sensor is calibrated.
