A single application of prelube at the Pushrod ends will guarantee correct insertion in the lifter bore. Apply prelube on the surfaces that make contact in the rocker arms before installation. Installation of newly reconditioned Cylinder Head or its parts could require shims (part number 88894006) under valve Rocker Arm pedestals. Rocker arms should be installed followed by tightening the Rocker Arm bolts. The last step involves placing back the valve Rocker Arm covers.
