  A: Begin the lower Intake Manifold (LP1, LY7) replacement by first turning off ignition then discarding the fuel injector sight shield. First disconnect the Brake Booster check valve and hose but record how the booster hose routes during the air outlet duct removal. The work requires moving the Brake Booster hose to the Intake Manifold along with disconnecting the purge solenoid valve electrical connector then removing the purge line from the purge solenoid valve followed by separating the fuel injector harness electrical connector and Throttle Body electrical connector.
