How to replace the engine coolant fan motor on 2010 Cadillac DTS?

A user must remove the cooling fan assembly before starting the replacement process for the engine coolant Fan Motor. Start by disassembling the cooling fan assembly before you proceed to detach the cooling fan itself. Then drain the cooling Fan Motor retaining bolts. Move on to separate the cooling Fan Motor away from its position on the Fan Shroud. Push the cooling Fan Motor onto the Fan Shroud and fasten it with retaining bolts while torquing them to 6 nm (53 lb in). Reinstall both the cooling fan and its assembly after installation is complete.
