How to replace the rear crankshaft seal on 2010 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to install a new crankshaft rear oil seal, one has to remove the automatic transmission flexplate and dispose of the old seal. Record the position of the seal with the part number facing outwards. Install the bolts and the new seal with the J 41479 cone and make sure it is perfectly aligned. Lastly, reinstall flexplate.
