How to replace the front outer CV Boot and CV Joint on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

Crossover joint assembly removal should occur before beginning front wheel drive shaft outer joint replacement and boot replacement. Swap the large seal retaining clip initially then get rid of the clamp before removing the small seal retaining clamp which should also be thrown out. You should clean the joint and remove all grease before you replace this one-piece outer joint unit as a whole. When the replacement procedure is performed incorrectly or the disassembly process is improperly carried out it creates serious vehicle performance faults or unsafe circumstances for personnel. Place the newly installed joint seal onto the Axle Shaft before proceeding with assembly. Add 110-130 grams (3.9-4.6 ounces) of recommended grease into the joint seal before redistributing the same amount back inside the joint. Use j 35566 (Seal Clamp Pliers) to crimp two new retaining clamps after installation of a large seal retaining clamp and a small seal retaining clamp. Position the cross groove joint seal assembly in its proper placement.
