Start by removing the front Exhaust Pipe with the transmission rear mounting bracket when the transmission is automatic. Next you must remove transmission bolts from the Oil Pan-to-transmission connection and the bolts that secure the Oil Pan. Start by removing both the Oil Pan Baffle along with the oil suction filter. When installing the oil suction filter it should be attached to the Oil Pan with necessary fastener caution followed. Screw in the Oil Pan Baffle bolts to 10 nm (7.3 lb ft). Segue to prepping the Oil Pan sealing area before dosing it with loctite 5900 sealant. Begin by installing the Oil Pan bolts then performing tightness to 14 nm (10.3 lb ft). Continue by installing the Oil Pan-to-transmission bolts at 40 nm (29.5 lb ft). Reinstall the transmission rear mounting bracket then apply torque to its bolts and nut to 80 nm (59 lb ft).
