2010 Chevrolet Camaro Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the A/C Condenser on 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
A: The first step to replace an air conditioning condenser requires performing refrigerant recovery. Next, remove the Radiator. First separate your air conditioning compressor hose and air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve tube from the condenser. Start by disconnecting the power steering gear outlet hose from the Power Steering Cooler before plugging it. Next disconnect the power steering fluid cooler outlet hose before plugging it too. First, remove air conditioning condenser bolts and afterwards detach the air conditioning condenser . When installing the air conditioning condenser apply 9 nm torque (80 lb in) to the air conditioning condenser bolts. Use the power steering fluid cooler outlet to plug it in. Then take the power steering gear outlet hose's plug out to connect it to the condenser inlet using a clamp for closure. Unplug the outlet hose of the cooler followed by installing the Power Steering Cooler outlet hose. Begin by thumb-securing the hose before you attach it to the cooler until fluid starts to run and clamp the connection. First connect the thermal expansion valve tube of the air conditioning evaporator to the condenser before linking the condenser to the air conditioning compressor hose. The installation of the Radiator is then followed by evacuating and charging the refrigerant system and completing bleeding of the power steering system.
