To take the condenser hva off, take the refrigerant first. For the 3.8 l engine, remove the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor connector form the air intake duct, and for the 5.7 l engine, remove the iat sensor and mass air flow (MAF) sensor connectors from the air intake duct. Displace the air intake duct for both engine types afterward displace our Radiator support and heave up the vehicle. Unscrew the air conditioning (A/C) compressor and condenser hose nut, and throw away the o-ring, then unscrew the a/c evaporator tube bolt at the condenser, and throw away its o-ring, also. Secondly, you should take off the Radiator air upper baffle from condenser and remove the condenser from Radiator. To install it, mount back the condenser onto the Radiator and mount the Radiator air upper baffle back. Change a new o-ring and apply a 16 n.m (12 lb ft) torque to the a/c evaporator tube bolt at the condenser. Install another new o-ring and connect the A/C Compressor and condenser hose nut at the condenser, while tightening this nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Lower the vehicle, put Radiator support back in, air intake duct 5.7 and after that the air intake duct 3.8 l one. Join the connectors of the iat sensors and maf sensors for the 5.7 l engine, and iat sensor for the 3.8 l engine. Finally, recharge the a/c system and proceed with a leak test.
