After locating the upper Shock Absorber bolts on the vehicle remove the rear Shock Absorber assembly. The rear Shock Absorber assembly installation begins with its placement into the vehicle and correct installation of upper Shock Absorber bolts which must be tightened to 58 nm (43 lb ft). The hydraulic jack can help elevate the lower Control Arm to enable bolt installation. The lower Shock Absorber features a bolt attachment combined with a nut and demands tightening with 80 nm (59 lb ft) while requiring an extra 120 degrees of rotation. First remove the hydraulic jack and reinstall the stabilizer shaft link to the lower Control Arm if required so you can finally install the tire along with wheel assembly then lower the vehicle.
