How to replace the windshield wiper arm on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Turn the ignition on to delay mode and stop the wipers at bottom stroke before turning off the ignition. Unscrew the Wiper Arm nut cover component and Wiper Arm nut assembly. The Wiper Arm puller tool j 39637 safely separates the Wiper Arm from its position on the wiper pivot shaft. Position the wiper arms onto the transmission shaft and fit them over the wiper pivot shaft. Keep the wiper blades correctly lined up with the lower blackout screen dots. While gripping the wiper arms to their windshield blackout dot markers insert the Wiper Arm nut and fasten it to 25 nm (18 lb ft). After installing the Wiper Arm nut cover you should activate the wipers and check the system function correctly and the blades match the alignment lines.
