To begin take off the Wiper Arm nut cover and Wiper Arm nut . Apply the Wiper Arm puller (J 39637) tool to take off the Wiper Arm from its position on the pivot shaft. Push the wiper arms onto the transmission shaft until their ends sit directly above the outline dots on the lower windshield blackout area. Fit the Wiper Arm nut by keeping the Wiper Blades in position to the windshield blackout dots tightening to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). After installing the wiper nut cover complete the test by starting the wipers to check their function and position.
