How to replace the Wiper Switch on Chevrolet Cobalt?

Start the wipers/washer switch replacement by taking off the Steering Column trim parts and disconnecting the wipers/washer switch electrical connector. Unscrew the retaining screws of the wipers/washer signal switch and lift off the component from its Steering Column position. After positioning the wipers/washer signal switch onto the Steering Column re-tighten its screws to 2 n.m (17 pound inch) in compliance with the fastener notice in service precautions. Reinstall the Steering Column trim covers after you reconnect the wipers/washer switch harness connector and securely fasten the wipers/washer signal switch.
