    You should start by taking off the Steering Column trim covers to replace the turn signal multifunction switch. Unplug the multifunction Turn Signal Switch harness connector from its port. Press and release the locks to remove the multifunction Turn Signal Switch from its column slot. Step one is to place the multifunction Turn Signal Switch onto the Steering Column with minor push until the locking tabs click on. Reconnect the multifunction switch harness and restore the Steering Column covers.

    Replace the Turn Signal Switch by taking out the instrument panel cluster trim plate first. First detach the bolts that secure the lower steering column trim cover before taking out the bolts from the top cover. You must disconnect the electrical links from the turn signal multifunction switch before moving the left lower steering column trim cover aside for access. Push the switch locking tabs downward to take out the turn signal multifunction switch. To install the new turn signal multifunction switch just insert it into position and release the locking tabs before reconnecting the electrical connectors. Reinstall both steering column trim covers after placing back the instrument panel cluster trim plate bezel.

    You need to take off Steering Column trim covers before working on the Windshield Wiper washer switch replacement. Step two is to disconnect the Windshield Wiper and washer switch connector. Pull down the locks to uninstall the Windshield Wiper/windshield washer switch. Place the new switch properly on the Steering Column by locking its tabs before plugging in the Windshield Wiper/windshield washer switch harness. Reinstall the trim panels at the end of the procedure.
